I have gained significant teaching experience through roles as an independent instructor and teaching assistant. I have taught Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics to over 500 students, serving as the sole instructor responsible for curriculum planning, lecturing, assignments, and grading. Previously, I worked as a TA leading discussion sections for Principles of Macroeconomics. I have gathered expertise utilizing a wide range of pedagogical techniques from traditional in-person teaching to online and hybrid instructional methods. I also conducted an R programming bootcamp for graduate business students, which expanded my skills.

My accomplishments include receiving the William L. Holahan Prize for Outstanding Teaching in 2023. My student evaluations have improved progressively over time, reflecting my deep commitment to teaching excellence. I take these teaching responsibilities extremely seriously and make concerted efforts to continuously improve.

My student-focused philosophy aims to foster open communication so learners feel comfortable sharing concerns. I strive to create an inclusive environment welcoming diverse students. I also constantly work on enhancing my teaching skills and methods to do a better job instructing.

My teaching evaluations showcase scores consistently at or above department averages on metrics including course/instructor recommendations, course difficulty, usefulness of materials, and instructor communication. The positive trajectory demonstrates my dedication to becoming an even better educator. In summary, I combine experience, and a supportive philosophy to provide impactful instruction grounded in student needs.
